Rakfisk weekend

Rakfisk weekend – 05.-07. November:

In connection with the Rakfisk festival at Fagernes, 6.-8. November, we offer a weekend under the star of the rakfisk (fermented fish, a local speciality, traditionally served with potatoes, raw onion, lefse, which is a kind of potato pancake, and beer or aquavit). You arrive on Friday evening to a rakfisk buffet with fish from different producers.

On Saturday after breakfast you go to Fagernes by bus. Rakfisk is the main attraction, but there is much more to see, taste and experience, like all sorts of fine food from local producers (moose sausage, for instance), hand crafts and a bit of a crowd – just as a festival should be.

In the evening you get back to a culinary experience – a five course gourmet dinner.

On Sunday a good, long lasting breakfast will be served before departure.

Rate per person in double room NOK 2.750,- which includes the whole stay, all meals and the bus ride to Fagernes.
